Man in custody following 3-hour barricade incident in Philadelphia's Mayfair section

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police took a man into custody following a barricade incident in the city's Mayfair section early Friday morning.

Authorities were called to the 4200 block of Shelmire Avenue around 3 a.m. for reports of a person with a gun.

Chopper 6 flew above as SWAT officials also responded to the scene.

Police say the man was taken into custody after a nearly three-hour-long standoff.

No one was hurt.

The incident remains under investigation.
