Man found dead on SEPTA tracks in Center City, police investigating

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Authorities are investigating a tragic scene at a busy Center City transit stop.

Police say a man was found dead on the SEPTA tracks, at the 2nd and Market Street westbound platform.

Officials say the victim was pulled from beneath a subway train.

Investigators are now reviewing surveillance video to determine how the man ended up on the tracks.

He hasn't been identified at this time.
