Man dies after being pulled from burning home in Delaware

BEAR, Del. (WPVI) -- A man has died after being pulled from a burning home in New Castle County on Tuesday night.

The fire broke out on the unit block of N. Dragon Drive in Bear, Delaware, around 7:15 p.m.

Firefighters rescued the man, who was trapped inside the home, and transported him to Christiana Hospital, where he later died.

His name has not yet been released.

The Delaware State Fire Marshal's Office is investigating the cause of the blaze.
