Man wanted for armed robbery at Philadelphia gas station
PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are searching for a robbery suspect who was caught on camera threatening a gas station employee.
It happened Saturday morning at the Sunoco on the 7200 block of Castor Avenue in the city's Rhawnhurst section.
The incident was caught on surveillance video.
Investigators say when an employee inside asked the man to leave, the gunman allegedly said he would shoot the employee if he didn't comply with demands.
The video shows how the employee could only watch as the suspect stole everything he could fit into his pockets.
The gunman then fled the area with an undisclosed amount of money and cigarettes, and was last seen leaving the store on foot, heading southbound down Castor Avenue.
Fortunately, no one was injured.
