Man wearing Halloween mask charged in armed robbery at Gloucester Co. business

WOODBURY, N.J. (WPVI) -- Police in Gloucester County have arrested a robber who they say broke into a business through a drive-through window and stole a cash drawer while wearing a Halloween mask.

Theodore Sparks, 25, of Woodbury, New Jersey, was arrested on Wednesday on the unit block of South Childs Street.

The incident happened at a business on the 600 block of Mantua Pike in Woodbury on November 5.

According to the Woodbury Police Department, Sparks forced his way through the drive-through window, armed with a weapon, and stole the cash drawer.

He fled the business back through the drive-through window and was last seen running north through the parking lot of an adjacent business.

Sparks has been charged with first-degree robbery, second-degree burglary, third-degree possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes, simple assault, and other offenses.

He's being held at Salem County Jail pending his detention hearing.
