Maple Shade man sentenced for possessing child sex abuse material, animal cruelty

MAPLE SHADE, N.J. (WPVI) -- A Burlington County judge sentenced a Maple Shade man to six years in prison for possessing child sexual abuse material and cruelty to animals.

Hunter Roy, 27, pleaded guilty to the crimes in September.

The investigation revealed Roy distributed more than 9,000 files of child pornography.

He was also communicating with an underage boy and made recordings of himself engaging in sexual acts with two dogs.
