New exhibit at Philadelphia's Independence Seaport Museum honors America's 250th

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- The Independence Seaport Museum in Penn's Landing is opening a new exhibit in honor of America 250th birthday.

The exhibition is titled "Seeking Profit and Power: Philadelphia, China Trade, and the Making of America".

It explores how early trade with China helped shape America's economic rise after the American Revolution, featuring 150 rarely seen artifacts.

It opens to the public on Friday.
