NJ's Cape May Zoo welcomes new capybara pups

CAPE MAY, NJ (WPVI) -- The Cape May County Park and Zoo welcomed some new furry friends this week, and they're a family favorite!

Capybara Buttercup is doing well after giving birth to two pups on April 14.

She had last given birth to two other pups in October.

Buttercup and the newest zoo members are under careful watch by the zoo's animal keepers and vets on staff.

You can see the happy family occasionally right now from the bridge at the capybara habitat.
