Pedestrian struck and killed by SEPTA train in Delaware County

MORTON, Pa. (WPVI) -- A pedestrian was struck and killed by a SEPTA train in Delaware County late Wednesday night.

It happened at 11:45 p.m. between the Morton and Secane stations on the inbound Media/Wawa Regional line.

Investigators have not identified who the victim was or why they were on the tracks.

Passengers were put on shuttle buses to continue their trip to Center City.
