
PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- The School District of Philadelphia is honoring high school seniors who have excelled academically.
A special gathering was held on Wednesday in Spring Garden for 100 graduating seniors with the highest grade-point averages at the Class of 2026 Valedictorian and Salutatorian Celebration.
Superintendent Dr. Tony Watlington was there for the occasion.
There was a jazz performance by fellow students and words of encouragement from the student representative from the Philadelphia Board of Education.
