Pine Street Grill brings comfort food classics with Michelin and James Beard pedigree

FITLER SQUARE (WPVI) -- Located across the street from Fitler Square Park, Pine Street Grill is a new family-friendly spot from culinary couple Amanda Shulman and Alex Kemp.

While the couple has earned James Beard recognition in recent years, they can now add a coveted Michelin star for Her Place Supper Club, and a notable nod as a Michelin Recommended Restaurant for My Loup.

The shift from fine dining to family-friendly makes sense, as the co-owners are new parents. Pine Street offers thoughtfully prepared classics from matzo ball soup and spinach artichoke dip, to salads, a burger, and rotisserie chicken.

This is also their first establishment to offer a kid's menu, and a weekend brunch.
