PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- The School District of Philadelphia is ending its long-standing partnership with Durham School Services.
The company has transported thousands of students for more than a decade.
Durham says the district notified company officials that it has selected a new transportation provider.
Durham says it valued the partnership and is disappointed in the decision.
The change leaves hundreds of its workers without jobs after this school year.
Durham says employees may have the option to transfer to other company locations where positions are available.
Action News has reached out to the school district but has not yet heard back.
