Shelter Me: Meet Marigold! A sweet girl ready for adventure

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- This week, 6abc's Shelter Me featured a sweet dog looking for adventure from the Pennsylvania SPCA.

Volunteer Programs Manager for the Pennsylvania SPCA, Lindsey King, came by the station to introduce us to Marigold!

King says Marigold came to the shelter through their Animal Law Enforcement Team in January, alongside another dog.

The two dogs were living in poor conditions and had to be removed from their home.

Despite her past, Marigold has such a sweet personality. Volunteers describe her as having a heart full of adventure!

If you are an active family who likes hiking, exploring new places or simply playing in the backyard, Marigold is your girl!

She is described as the perfect mix of affectionate and energetic. She is always ready for a cuddle or a day of adventure.

She can be nervous at first, but quickly warms up to anyone she meets. She would work best in a home with gentle or older children and other low-key dogs.
