Street cleaning begins in Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Philadelphia street cleaning returns Monday.

This also means cars need to be moved off scheduled blocks.

The Philadelphia Parking Authority will ticket drivers who do not move their vehicles during the no-parking times.

Cleaning takes place Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. except on city holidays.

The program runs in 14 neighborhoods identified as having the most trash.

Street sweeping runs through October 29.
