SUV collides with NJ Transit River Line train

DELRAN, N.J. (WPVI) -- NJ Transit is investigating a collision between a River Line train and an SUV in Burlington County.

It happened at the Main Street crossing near the Riverside station in Delran just before 6 p.m. Tuesday.

Authorities said the River Line train had just departed the Walter Rand Transportation Center, bound for Trenton when the collision happened.

Four people on board the train were evaluated for minor injuries.

The driver of the SUV was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
