Teen struck by vehicle in hit-and-run in Philadelphia's Kensington section

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police are investigating a hit-and-run in Philadelphia's Kensington section.

Authorities say a 17-year-old was hit around 1:30 a.m. on Monday at Front and Indiana streets.

Witnesses say the driver fled the scene after the crash.

The teen was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

There has been no word on the description of the vehicle.
