PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- An out-of-control truck crashed into a playground on Tuesday afternoon in the Kingsessing section of Philadelphia.
It happened in the area of 55th Street and Kingsessing Avenue by the S. Weir Mitchell Elementary School.
Surveillance video obtained by Action News shows the moment the white truck comes barreling down a residential street, rams into a black SUV, and crashes through the playground fence.
"I'm thankful I'm alive," said crossing guard Jamele Ransom.

He said he was standing by a tree when the truck just missed him.
"I hear boom. I don't know which way to run because that car is already doing a 360. But the time I look he's on the curb coming towards me, so I dart back," Ransom said.
Officials say the incident happened right before school dismissal around 2 p.m. and no children were injured.
"I'm honestly thankful no kids was hurt," said Ransom.
Sources tell us the driver was taken into custody at the scene.

The truck belongs to Carusone Construction.
One of the owners says the incident began down the block near 62nd Street and Grays Avenue.
He says his employee was finishing up at a site and left the car running for a few seconds. That's when the suspect jumped in and sped away.
There was no immediate word on the number or severity of any injuries.
