Veterans honored at annual Flags of Liberty tribute in Wildwood, NJ

WILDWOOD, N.J. (WPVI) -- New Jersey Governor Mikie Sherrill was in Wildwood on Friday for a powerful Memorial Day event to honor those veterans who made the ultimate sacrifice.

Hundreds of flags were unfurled at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall and the Convention Center as part of the 10th annual "Flags of Liberty" tribute.

Families were invited to display the casket flags of their fallen loved ones, forming a chain of more than 200 American flags leading to the boardwalk.
