PHILAELPHIA (WPVI) -- A water main break has opened up in Philadelphia's Point Breeze section, with concerns that it may turn the street into a sheet of ice in these frigid temperatures.
Chopper 6 was over the 1200 block of South 16th Street at 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday, where water could be seen flowing down the snowy street around parked cars.

The Water Department says they are working to repair the leak on a six-inch water main before the frigid temperatures turn the street into a sheet of ice.
"It's super icy already, and I don't know how they're going to deal with getting all of the ice up. I feel really bad for these workers that are out here that are going to have to fix this later," said Andrea Hewitt from South Philadelphia.
The gas company is now inspecting its equipment on the block between Federal and Wharton streets, apparently back for a second time.
"They were here yesterday in the afternoon. They blocked off the road; there was a bus stuck behind them," said Hewitt.
Officials with the Water Department say they currently have no reports of any leaks in the basements of homes in the area.
They are working to bring in a new shift of workers to continue to repair the leak.
