VIDEO: PSEG warning customers of scams during holiday season
PSEG, New Jersey's largest utility company, is urging its customers to be alert to scams this season.

PSE&G, New Jersey's largest utility company, is urging its customers to be alert to scams this season.

Customers should be cautious of callers who demand immediate payment via a pre-paid card.

PSE&G offers a number of payment options and would never require a customer to use one specific type of payment.

And they warn customers to be wary of phony utility workers showing up at your door to "check a problem."

They say you should always ask for I.D.

And when in doubt, you can contact PSE&G at 1-800-436-PSEG for more information.
