PHOTOS: Whitney Houston's NJ mansion sells for $1.5M

MENDHAM, N.J. (WPVI) -- After five years on the market, the former home of Whitney Houston in Mendham, New Jersey has been sold.

Real estate website Zillow.com reports the mansion was sold to fan Matthew Krauthamer for $1.5 million.

Krauthamer, an emergency room physician and investor, said the home reminds of him of Houston's "true heart," the site reported.

The estate was built on 1987 and sites on five wooded acres.
