Woman struck by driver on Ridge Avenue in Andorra

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A pedestrian was injured in a nasty crash during snow squalls Wednesday night in Philadelphia's Andorra section.

A woman suffered critical injuries when she was struck by a car on Ridge Avenue at Port Royal Avenue.

Authorities say she's expected to survive.

Police are investigating what caused the driver to hit the pedestrian and if weather played a role.
