Officials: Ruptured gas line cause of fire at Delco apartment building

RIDLEY, Pa. (WPVI) -- Officials say a ruptured gas line caused a fire outside an apartment building in Ridley, Delaware County.

The fire started Sunday night along the 1200 block of Haverford Road.

Officials say a gas line ruptured, causing the fire to break out on the side of the building.

Upon arrival, crews were able to contain the fire and damage was limited to the outside of the building.

No injuries were reported.
