ALLENTOWN, Pa. -- The son of Allentown's police chief is now on trial for allegedly pulling a gun on two undercover officers during an apparent case of road rage.

Prosecutors say Christopher Fitzgerald pulled the gun on the officers as they tried to pass his car back in August.

His girlfriend and one-year-old child were in the car at the time.

Fitzgerald's attorney says he was worried that people were following him.

Fitzgerald faces charges including careless and reckless driving and simple assault.
