NORTHERN LIBERTIES (WPVI) -- Police are asking the public's help in identifying a suspect wanted for robbery in the Northern Liberties section of Philadelphia.
The incident happened around 6:42 a.m. on March 15th on the 700 block of 4th Street.
A woman was walking on the street when a man approached her and allegedly put his hand over her eyes, and grabbed her bag.
Police say when the victim turned around, the suspect told her, he was not going to shoot her.
The victim then began screaming, and the suspect told her if she didn't stop screaming, he would shoot her.
The victim let go of her bag, and the suspect fled in an unknown direction.
Police say the bag contained a laptop, credit cards, wallet, identification, and $10 cash.
The suspect is described as an Hispanic male, 5'10"-6'0" tall, wearing a gray knit beanie hat.
