Route 42 closures due to bridge removal

Commuters driving on Route 42 in Camden County, New Jersey need to take notice.

Northbound lanes are being closed in order for the old I-295 bridge to be torn down.

Three out of the four lanes will be shut down.

NJDOT is telling drivers to take the Exit 1B ramp to I-295 Northbound and stay in the left lane to get back on Route 42.

The lane closures will happen every night until at least Thursday, from 8:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.
