An Upper Dublin Township elementary school was evacuated Friday afternoon following an unknown chemical spill.

UPPER DUBLIN TWP., Pennsylvania (WPVI) -- Fort Washington Elementary School in Upper Dublin Township, Montgomery County was evacuated Friday afternoon following an accidental release of mace

Officials tell Action News it happened in a classroom inside the school located in the 1000 block of Fort Washington Avenue at about 1:30 p.m.

The students who were affected were treated and released.
