The Bucks County SPCA helped one dog find his forever home.
Murfy is celebrating his 4th Christmas with his forever family.
Tyra Hill adopted Murfy in August of 2012.
She says, "He just kind of melted our hearts."
Murfy was 8-months-old when Tyra adopted him. He now gets home cooked meals, fancy lion cut hair-dos, and he even has his own Facebook page.
"I knew to look for a dog that would gravitate to you, and when he gravitated to me, I thought oh this is perfect," said Tyra.
Murfy was rescued by the Bucks County SPCA.
Linda Reider is the/Executive Director, Bucks County SPCA.
"We want people to find the animal that they are looking for. And, that they bond with, and that both the animal and the people are happy. We call that adoption success," said Linda.
They've been serving the community for more than 100 years, rescuing all types of animals.
"Today just in care we have 250 animals, so when people come to one of our two locations they will see a lot of animals for adoption," added Linda.
The Quakertown location is fully equipped to even handle farm animals.
If you're interested in any of the animals you've seen, you can visit the Bucks County SPCA website.
