Man critical after shooting in Wissinoming

WISSINOMING (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are investigating a shooting in Wissinoming that left one man injured.

The incident happened before 10:00 p.m. Saturday in the 2100 block of East Cheltenham Avenue.

Police say a 28-year-old man was shot once in the stomach during an apparent robbery attempt.

He was rushed to Temple University Hospital in critical condition.

So far, no arrests have been made.
