Man shot, wounded in Salem, N.J

SALEM, N.J. (WPVI) -- Police in South Jersey are investigating a shooting that left a man seriously wounded.

Gunfire erupted late Sunday night along East Broadway and Olive Streets in Salem.

Police arrived to find a man suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest.

The victim was rushed to an area hospital.

A search is underway for the gunman.
