Driver flips vehicle in NE Philadelphia crash

NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police say a driver lost control and flipped their vehicle on its side in Northeast Philadelphia.

The accident happened before 6:00 a.m. Tuesday on the northbound outer lanes at Whitaker Avenue.

The Philadelphia Fire Department tells Action News the victim was transported to Einstein Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

So far, there is no word on why the driver lost control.
