Action News executive producer inducted in Hall of Fame

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- We want to give a heartfelt congratulations to the executive producer of the 11 p.m. Action News broadcast. He was inducted into the Broadcast Pioneers Hall of Fame.

Rick Williams, not to be confused with anchor Rick Williams, was the man of the hour Friday night.

Speaking to hundreds of people at the organization's annual dinner, Rick talked about his 35 years at Channel 6, and the joy he's experienced working at his craft every day.

He paid tribute to the people with whom he's worked at this very special television station, which gives us the opportunity to pay tribute to him, and to say thank you Rick Williams.
