Can you guess which state in the union holds the American flag the highest? Quirky real-estate company Movoto ranked the most to least patriotic states in the U.S.A. according to data pulled from the 2012 U.S. Census, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Google Trends, Facebook, and Wikipedia.

South Carolina - Most people googled-searched American flags, and the 7th most veteran residents per capita.



Maine - 1 in 10 residents have served in the military, and highest voter percentage in the top 10 patriot states.



North Carolina - 1 in 10 residents have served in the military; 6th highest in veteran funding.



Wyoming - 25% of the state likes "America" on Facebook.



Virginia - 3rd highest in president home states, and home to the 2nd most veterans in the U.S.



Florida - More 4 million residents list "United States" as an interest



Georgia - 8th in veteran funding and in most Facebook likes of "United States."



Alaska - 1st in most veterans per capita with nearly 1 in 8 having served, and ranked the 1st in most historical landmarks.



Alabama - 9th in people google-searching for the American flag, ranked in the top 30 for all categories.



Arizona - 5th in most Facebook likes for "United States."
