SOUTH PHILADLEPHIA (WPVI) -- A man is in critical condition after a shooting near Wharton Square in South Philadelphia.
The shooting happened just before 10:00 p.m. Saturday at 24th and Reed streets near the entrance of the park.
Police say a 25-year-old man was shot 15 to 17 times in the groin, chest, thigh and buttocks area.
He was taken to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center in critical condition.
No arrests have been made.
