Man stabbed inside Brewerytown house

BREWERYTOWN (WPVI) -- A 37-year-old man was stabbed inside a house in the Brewerytown section of Philadelphia early Wednesday morning, police say.

The incident occurred just before 3:00 a.m. on the 900 block of North 29th Street.

Officers were called to the area after a report of a person with a weapon.

They arrived to find the victim on the floor in the dining room of a residence.

He suffered a stab wound to the chest and was rushed to Hahnemann Hospital and taken into surgery.

He is listed in critical condition.

So far, there are no arrests or word on a motive.
