TRENTON, N.J. (WPVI) -- Mayor Eric Jackson delivered his State of the City Address Thursday in Trenton.
His key themes? Economic development and public safety.
On both fronts, the mayor said the city has made progress.
He cited new housing and retail development set for construction within the next two years.
Jackson said the city's crime rate is nearing an all-time low.
He added the city should now reach out to young people and artists as well as capitalize on a renewed interest in urban living.
