PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- It was more than just about fashion Saturday night in South Philadelphia.
The event is called Stomp the Runway and its goal is to raise awareness about domestic violence.
It was established by a local designer four years ago, following the murder of local model, Vanessa Watson.
On Saturday night, men and women moved up and down the catwalk, wearing clothing with a message.
Proceeds from the event will go to local charities.
Our own Sharrie Williams was there to lend her support as well.
