2 hospitalized after shooting in Strawberry Mansion

STRAWBERRY MANSION (WPVI) -- Two men are hospitalized after being shot in Philadelphia's Strawberry Mansion section.

The shooting happened around 7:45 p.m. along the 2900 block of French Street.

Police said someone shot a 23-year-old man multiple times and a 24-year-old man once in the abdomen.

The victims were rushed by private vehicle to Temple University Hospital for care.

The 24-year-old is in stable condition. No word on the condition of the 23-year-old victim.

So far, no word on arrests or motive.

The scene was held while police conducted an investigation.
