Pedestrian struck by vehicle near Target in Wynnefield Heights

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A pedestrian was struck by a car in the Wynnefield Heights section of Philadelphia.

It happened around 5:45 p.m. Sunday at the Target shopping center on Monument Road.

Police say it appears the driver was turning into the entrance of the Target when the vehicle struck the person.

The victim was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
