It's been 14 months since 33-year-old Terrell Jackson, a Camden father, was gunned down right outside of his home.

CAMDEN, N.J. (WPVI) -- It's been 14 months since a Camden father was gunned down right outside of his home and a reward is being offered to find his killer.

"Terrell was very athletic, an intelligent person," said Hazelene Jackson.

Jackson has fond words about her youngest son, Terrell, but she also isn't blind about his past.

"You know people have made mistakes - he paid his debt to society," she said.

On March 21, 2013, just before 11:00 p.m., 33-year-old Terrell was outside of his house on the 1700 block of South 7th Street in Camden.

"He was supposed to have been arguing with someone or something about a van," said Marie Jackson, victim's sister.

That's when Terrell was shot and the suspect or suspects took off in his van - an older model silver or gray Ford Windstar.

"After he was killed, those who we believe were involved, took the van and it was later found burned at 3rd and Liberty," said Detective Anthony Roccia, Camden County Prosecutor's Office.

Now his family is still searching for answers.

"They took a big part of us when they took my brother," said Marie.

"I've lost my whole world while somebody out here enjoying themselves," said Jackson.

Terrell left behind a 2-year-old little girl.

"She'll never know anything more of her dad," said Jackson.

The Citizens Crime Commission is administering a $1,000 reward for anyone with information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible.

All you need to do is make an anonymous call to 215-546-TIPS (8477). It's a call that could help ease the pain for this grieving family.
