Philadelphia D.A. Candidates Forum

The candidates for Philadelphia District Attorney met on Inside Story for a forum hosted by Action News anchor Monica Malpass.

All eight candidates, seven Democrats and one Republican, answered questions on topics like criminal justice reform, the opioid epidemic, police and community relations, gun control and the scandal that hangs over current District Attorney Seth Williams.

The participants were (in alphabetical order): Teresa Carr Deni (D), Tariq El-Shabazz (D), Beth Grossman (R), Joe Khan (D), Lawrence Krasner (D), Rich Negrin (D), John O'Neill (D) and Michael Untermeyer (D).

Primary Day is Tuesday, May 16 in Philadelphia.
