The Phillies are teaming up with Philabundance to help fight hunger in the Delaware Valley.

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- The Phillies are teaming up with Philabundance to help fight hunger in the Delaware Valley.

Manager Ryne Sandberg, Phillies executives, and the Phillie Phanatic were at the Philabundance Hunger Relief Center in South Philadelphia today. They announced details of the Phans Feeding Families campaign. They're encouraging fans to donate to help the needy in our area.

Citizens Bank made the first donation. President Dan Fitzpatrick gave a check for 40 thousand dollars.
