Taking the leap for philly schools

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- The Sixers mascot decided to drop off the side of a building Friday.

Franklin took the 418 foot trip down One Logan Square.

The stunt was not only to meant to get fans pumped about the first home game next week, it was also intended to garner support for Philadelphia area schools.

Both the Sixers Phlight Squad and the Dance Team were there to cheer Franklin on as he safely reached ground.
