CENTER CITY (WPVI) -- They're the future of medicine, and Friday they officially took the next step on their journeys.

Drexel University's College of Medicine held its commencement ceremony at the Kimmel Center.

434 students got their medical degrees, masters, or PHDs.

Former Secretary of the US Health and Human Services Department Louis Sullivan gave the address.

Drexel educates one out of every 72 medical students in America.
