Fire breaks out at 3-story home in New Castle

NEW CASTLE, Del. (WPVI) -- Delaware officials are investigating a three-story house fire in New Castle.

The fire broke out just before 4 p.m. Saturday in the unit block of West 5th Street.

Upon arrival, crews said heavy smoke was showing on the third floor of the home.

The fire was discovered in the attic, officials said, and brought under control within a half hour.

So far, no injuries have been reported.
