1 person hurt in New Castle County vehicle crash

RED LION, Del. (WPVI) -- Police say one person was injured in a crash in New Castle County, Delaware.

It happened around 7 p.m. Saturday on U.S. Route 1 southbound on the ramp to Red Lion Road in Red Lion.

According to police, the driver lost control going off the roadway and then down an embankment.

The victim was taken to Christiana Hospital with serious injuries.
