SUV crashes into strip mall in city's Rhawnhurst section

RHAWNHURST (WPVI) -- An SUV slammed into a strip mall and left a path of destruction.

Chopper 6 over the scene moments after the crash happened late Monday night showed the silver SUV inside the building.

The incident occurred on the 2100 block of Cottman Avenue in Philadelphia's Rhawnhurst section.

It's not yet known what led up to the crash, or if the driver was injured.
