Tractor-trailer crash jams Vine St. Expressway (I-676) in Center City Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A crash involving a tractor-trailer slowed traffic on the Vine St. Expressway (I-676) Thursday morning.

It happened around 6 a.m. in the westbound lanes just west of the Broad St. exit.

There was no immediate word what led to the crash.

Police tell Action News the big rig hit a section of concrete median.

No serious injuries were reported.

Two westbound lanes were blocked as police investigated and crews worked to clear the wreckage.

Extensive delays were reported in the area. Motorists were advised to seek alternate routes.
