Officials: Man hit, killed after walking along train tracks in New Jersey

EDGEWATER PARK, New Jersey (WPVI) -- A man walking along train tracks is dead after getting hit by a train in Burlington County, New Jersey.

Police say this happened Friday just before 11 p.m. in Edgewater Park.

Officials say the victim was walking along the River Line tracks, just south of the Woodlane Road Overpass, when he was hit by an approaching train.

Police have not released the identity of the victim.

Officials say nobody was on board the train at the time of the crash.
