Firefighter suffers injury in Upper Chichester

UPPER CHICHESTER, Pa. (WPVI) -- A firefighter was injured while battling a fire in Upper Chichester, Delaware County, early Sunday morning.

Crews were called to the 2300 block of Carlton Avenue around 8 a.m.

The fire was placed under control a half hour later.

All residents were able to escape without injury.

One firefighter was reported to have a minor injury and was transported to Crozer Chester Medical Center.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
